Wacom recruits Jeff Mandell as Executive Vice President Branded Business, Leading transition to Global Business Unit.

Tokyo, April 13, 2015 -- Jeff Mandell, a global executive with extensive experience in Computer Peripherals, Consumer Electronics, Mobility and Software & Services, recently joined Wacom’s Executive team as EVP Branded Business. Wacom, the world leader in the interactive pen tablet market and global pen technology leader for smartphones, tablets and notebooks, recently reorganized into strategic business units and is strengthening it´s top-leadership team. In this newly created role Jeff Mandell will run all aspects of the branded business which includes the Creative and Consumer Business Units. He will directly report to Wacom’s CEO, Masahiko Yamada, and oversee a global team of over 225 professionals across Americas, EMEA, Japan, Asia-Pacific and China that generates ~$400 million in Sales.

Prior to Wacom, Jeff was President, Global Accessories for $10Billion+ Brightstar, the largest mobile distribution and wireless services company in the world (recently acquired by Softbank). Other roles have included VP Marketing Americas at Ericsson (Mobile Phones), President/GM at Arcsoft (Digital Imaging Software & Services), and GM of an Imaging Products BU at Epson (Digital Cameras, Scanners, Multimedia Projectors and Photo-ware). Prior to this he was a management consultant and held senior leadership roles in brand management at two leading multi-national consumer package goods companies.
